NARCAN® Nasal Spray is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency with signs of breathing problems and severe sleepiness or not being able to respond. NARCAN® Nasal Spray is to be given right away and does not take the place of emergency medical care.
Why are we hosting a Narcan Training?
We want to teach you how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan.
In this training you will:
Watch a live demonstration of administering Narcan.
Get hands-on practice in administering Narcan.
Get any questions around distributing and/or administering Narcan answered by two of our in-house experts, Aimee Techau, NP/OP, Assistant Medical Director and Nikki Kulish, RN/OP with AllHealth Network
