POSTPONED~ How Animals Support Humans

November 14, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

There has been a recent growth in the number of studies examining Animal Assisted Interventions for trauma. Results have been predominantly positive, showing short-term improvements in depression, PTSD symptoms, and anxiety.

Our very own beloved partner at Mane Mission Animal Assisted Farm, Kathy Hulley , MA, LPC, will discuss the supplemental role animals can play in a trauma recovery journey, and provide educational insight on what is happening in our bodies and minds with animal connection.

BRUNO – Kathy’s sidekick, and therapy dog will be joining this discussion!

For more information on Kathy and her husbands mission, check out their website: https://www.themanemission.com/

This activity should be considered as a complementary to and not a replacement for traditional Evidence Based Therapy or counseling.
